MD Lars Voedisch and VP for Growth & Innovation Prayaank Gupta recently toured Vietnam to meet existing clients, prospects, media and partners, as PRecious officially launches its presence in the country.
“We are seeing surging demand from our clients for PR support in Vietnam and are amazed by the openness for business,” Prayaank said. “We have established a footprint and we continue to see growth as more of our clients are looking at this market.”
Invited by the Advertising Vietnam podcast, Lars and Prayaank shared insights about how PRecious is building a truly international brand, about the AI revolution and the importance of the relationship component in communications. You can watch the video below.
“We are trying to build trust on the ground,” Lars said. “We are reaching out to the regional heroes, the unicorns that want to be successful at global level and want to learn more about their business issues and how comms can help on their journey. But we are also providing advice for businesses entering the country and helping companies tell their story in Vietnam.”
Earlier, Lars and Prayaank talked to Vietcetera Media about the secrets of succeeding in Southeast Asia, how brands need a mix of regional and local public relations strategies.
“It’s all about thinking regional, but staying local after all,” Lars said.
The overarching message has to be consistent across markets in the region, but you also need a thorough understanding and familiarity with cultural nuances, relevant issues affecting local industries and the local media landscape. Only when you have knowledgeable PR practitioners on the ground can you truly be compelling and engaging with the local media.
