Team and Talent: How Investing in Our People Drives Regional and Client Triumph

COUNTRY: Australia, Indonesia, Malaysia, Others, Philippines, Singapore, Thailand, Vietnam

In our industry, you hear a lot about “client-centricity.” We believe that’s only half the story. Exceptional client work is a byproduct of an exceptional team. You cannot have one without the other.

This year, our primary commitment has been to strengthen that core foundation: our people. We don’t just look to hire great talent; we are dedicated to building an environment where every member of our team can grow, lead, and deliver their best work.

Our commitment to their development takes many forms, which we’re proud to share here.

This post highlights the PRecious Standard: a people-first approach that ensures team excellence drives client success. Strategic support for talent—from Cannes Lions to hackathons and career fairs—proves the organisation’s commitment to building a resilient, award-winning agency.

Growing Our Leadership

Our growth isn’t just a goal; it’s a result of our teams’ proven success.

In 2025, our PRecious Philippines team, under the consistent leadership of Paolo Alba, was named a Finalist for In-Country Consultancy of the Year by PRCA APAC. This recognition is a testament to the outstanding results they deliver.

To build on this proven momentum and scale our excellence across the region, we invested heavily in our leadership structure. We welcomed Joanna Ong as our Regional Chief Operations Officer to lead operations and client delivery across all markets. We expanded Sunita Kanapathy’s portfolio to include leadership of PRecious Malaysia, and we appointed Hannah Grace as Associate Country Lead to help spearhead our next phase of growth in the Philippines.

We invest in our high-performing teams to make them even stronger.

Global Inspiration: The Journey to France

We believe creativity needs fuel. Sometimes, that fuel is found thousands of miles away.

This year, we were thrilled to support our rising stars – Amisha Shettigar and her teammate Divyata Raut, who won the Singapore Young Lions Competition.

Their victory earned them a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity: a trip to France to represent Singapore at the prestigious Cannes Lions International Festival of Creativity.

We didn’t just congratulate them; we backed their journey. They spent a week walking the halls of the Palais des Festivals, brushing shoulders with the world’s best storytellers and soaking in ideas that challenge the status quo.

As Amisha shared upon her return:

“My biggest lesson? Great ideas don’t live in a boardroom—they live where people live, listen, and feel. All they need is a spark.”

This is our commitment to opportunity. We provide our team with the platform to compete and succeed on the global stage.

Sharpening Our Skills

A great team never stops learning. We invest in making our people smarter, faster, and more adaptive.

This year, we ran an intensive, two-day “AdaptiveComms bootcamp” for our teams across the region. We also held an internal PRecious Hackathon, challenging our teams to push boundaries and solve real-world client briefs with new, integrated ideas. We also celebrate individual excellence. We were incredibly proud when our Associate Manager, Aniket Gupta, was named a Finalist for Young Professional of the Year at the PRCA Gold Standard Awards. This is the standard we nurture.

Building a Great Community

Culture can be a buzzword. For us, it’s simple. We want to be a place where people can do their best work.

We received one of the best compliments from an intern this year:

“I found a culture that taught me what it actually means to be professional at work, but human at heart.”

This is the PRecious Standard. It’s why our teams are colleagues, and also friends. It’s why we celebrate Friendship Day and have “Dress like Matin Day” to honor a team member. It’s why our Jakarta team comes together to proudly celebrate National Batik Day, and why our Philippines team knows that the best partnerships are often built over a good meal.

Building Our Future

We are always investing in our next generation.

This year, our PRecious Indonesia team moved into a significantly larger office to support their growing team. Our People & Culture team has also been on the ground at the NUS Career Fest and SUSS Career Fair, connecting with the next wave of talent.

It all comes down to a clear commitment: We empower our people. Our people deliver their best work. Our clients experience exceptional success.
