PRecious swipes tech award at PRCA event

COUNTRY: Singapore

CATEGORY: News

PRecious Communications and Palo Alto Networks have won the prestigious Best Technology Award at this year’s PRCA APAC gala in Singapore. The campaign “Crisis Averted | Unit 42” was deemed instrumental in raising awareness about growing threats targeting businesses and nations.

Palo Alto’s Unit 42 fields one of the largest and most experienced threat intelligence teams in the world with over 200 cyber threat researchers. We’re very grateful to have worked with outstanding partners in Palo Alto Networks and Fei Tierney. Kudos goes to our PRecious Edge team, led by Arundhati Saha and Joel Cutinho, who continue to push the boundaries of innovation and creativity in tech PR.

The objective was to reinforce how Unit 42 is synonymous with cybersecurity and its impact on creating a mindset shift to Zero Trust. Our team managed to arrange interviews with several tier 1 media, over cocktails at Ann Siang Hill and at a press event at Conrad Singapore.

Cyberattacks are no longer restricted to individuals looking for monetary gains, but impacting governments, infrastructure and people. Unit 42 partners with law-enforcements in the region and plays a critical role in protecting nations. It signed the first data-sharing agreement with Interpol in 2017 which led to various successful cybercrime operations.
