Innovation Only Matters If It Produces Results

The need for the PR profession to deliver value and drive positive return-on-investment has never been greater. While several judges look for innovative approaches, almost all of them look for results that drive business outcomes which are relevant, realistic, specific, measurable and timely. For all our campaigns, we begin by asking these questions:

  • Do the objectives support the overall company/brand goals?
  • Can I/we fulfil the objectives and what will it take to do so?
  • What measurements should I consider to establish success?
  • Over what period of time am I/are we looking to achieve these objectives?

Over the last year, the arsenal of communications methods at PRecious Communications has gone beyond the different iterations of the press release to creative combinations of influencer management, social media, content marketing and lead generation among others.

The Importance of Focusing on Growth Mindset

A rising tide lifts all boats. While creating award-winning campaigns are great, we pride ourselves to deliver campaigns that meet our client’s objectives, and some of them end up winning awards. To achieve this, we believe in providing our employees with the tools, time and incentives necessary to cultivate a growth mindset. We understand that a growth mindset cannot be forced but should be developed and encouraged over time.

We have engaged external trainers like Bernadette Chua, Founder and Principal Consultant for Dream Catalyst to mentor teams and individuals to strengthen our existing business culture. This ensures that everyone at PRecious thinks “outside-the-box,” welcome change and measurably grow their leadership skills.

The Importance of Enabling Employees – Our Strongest Asset

Every team needs a captain, but a captain alone cannot win the game. Among the several awards that we won, the ones we are exceptionally thrilled about are Learning and Development awards,

PRecious Communications is all about enabling our strongest asset – our employees. We take pride in cultivating a company environment that individuals are proud of. We try to strike a fine balance where the work role is challenging but allows for creativity, variety, learning, and autonomy.

Structuring Training Programs – An average of two internal training sessions that covers all aspects of communications are conducted every month

Enabling Knowledge Sharing – Weekly team meetings and one-on-one discussion are structured to celebrate success and turn setbacks into learning opportunities for growth

Establishing Thought Leadership – The PRecious blog serves as a platform for employees to establish their credentials as a thought leader in the public relations field
