The Yuletide season is all about spreading kindness and happiness. With barely a week to go until Christmas, we ask some of our newest members to share how they intend to spread cheer and make the last few days of the year count.
I usually wear a bright red Christmas jumper that I got in New York—this jumper only sees the light of day once a year.
-Andrew Ho, Associate Manager
Will celebrate it with a big Skype call. My family and I are all separated across the world, and Christmas is the only time of year, when we are all able to gather together to celebrate and catch up!
-Jonathan Yap, Associate Manager
We randomly rock up to friends’ houses to drop off gifts of their favourite foods.
-Daniel Tan, Associate Director
This year is special. I’m going to spend some great quality time with my family! Well, isn’t that what Christmas is all about – food, fun and frolic with friends and family.
-Amrita Ukil Dutta, Manager
This year, I am giving plants to my friends for Christmas because most of us don’t have Christmas trees. We’ll put lights and mini ornaments on them!
-Sage Lee, Client Executive
I’m excited to dress up, hang out with friends, visit different places in Singapore to take nice photos with Christmas lights, and hold gift exchange sessions with friends and family.
-Joanne Ek, Junior HR Executive
Christmas is always associated with my mum’s birthday! This year, our family is finally going to have a reunion (after a year of MCO lockdown). We will be celebrating the holidays together at Genting Highlands— savouring the cool air, cooking hotpot an an Airbnb, visiting the newly opened Genting outdoor theme park, spending money on food (or even the casino).
P.S. My cat’s birthday is on 23 Dec (she turns 1!)
-Joo Yun LEE, Client Executive
Christmas for me is always associated with decorations, Secret Santa, food and fun. Proud to say that I was the one in charge of putting up the Christmas tree at PRecious Communications’ regional office.
-Nisa MJS, Admin & Finance Executive
It’s the season of giving! How I will be celebrating this year is no different from how I usually celebrate the season in previous years: collecting donations such as stationery, clothes, and money, and giving these to orphans across several places in Jakarta.
-Verly Z, Management Trainee
My family and I usually visit some relatives’ houses – both inside and outside the city. This is definitely a moment I look forward to and don’t want to miss. I also look forward to seeing fireworks lighting up the sky.
-Aditya Rizky, Senior Client Executive
My Christmas is often spent in the company of my family which I don’t see very often (once a year at Christmas in fact). It’s a great time to catch up with everyone over some great food!
-Jordon Simpson, Senior Client Executive
