SINGAPORE, 18 February, 2022 – PRecious Communications, a multi-award-winning integrated communications agency combining traditional and digital capabilities, is strengthening its regional capabilities with the appointments of key leaders, on the back of strong business momentum in 2021. The agency recently appointed Jose Raymond as Director of Strategic Advisory, and Joel Cutinho as Senior Manager, to aid in the agency’s sustainable growth in the next normal.
“We’ve come a long way, close to ten years since setting up PRecious. This entailed a lot of trial and error, but the important thing is having fun while growing along the way. We’re excited to continue expanding our team rapidly, to better serve the needs of clients across industries. Appointing veterans such as Jose and Joel, who bring with them specialised communications expertise in different sectors, is a step in the right direction as we look at further honing our capabilities as an integrated team and grooming the skills of our people,” said Lars Voedisch, Managing Director, PRecious Communications.
Jose Raymond is now helming the PRecious INC practice, which provides high-level advisory to global, regional and local corporates. A multiple award-winning former journalist with the Straits Times and Mediacorp, Jose has had stints in public service, NGOs and in corporate companies where he has held various leadership roles.
Most recently, he served as Chief Strategy Officer for communications and content marketing agency, SW Singapore and Malaysia. Previously, he served as the Chief Executive Officer for Singapore Environment Council and Press Secretary to Dr Vivian Balakrishnan at the Ministry of Sustainability and the Environment.
He was the founding Vice-Chairman of the Chiam See Tong Sports Fund which aimed to help under-served athletes, and supported the non-profit from its launch in March 2017 to December 2020. He continues to be active in the sports community, currently serving as the Vice-President (Partnerships) of FLASH Athletics Club.

Meanwhile, Joel Cutinho, was recently appointed as a Senior Manager for PRecious EDGE, the agency’s B2B tech practice. He has ten years of experience in reputation management, executive and strategic communications, issues and crisis management, as well as client servicing, having worked in agencies such as Havas Middle East, Fleishman Hillard, Archetype and Adfactors PR. He specialises in the enterprise technology, corporate, energy, infrastructure, media & entertainment sectors, and has provided strategic communications advisory to clients including SAP, EY, NTT Ltd., Honeywell, ASUS, Huawei, Disney-Star and L&T.
PRecious Communications actively plans and executes client communications programmes across Australia, Indonesia, Malaysia, Philippines, Singapore, Thailand and Vietnam. Pada acara ini, BSAF bermaksud mengumumkan inovasi-inovasi baru di bidang produksi kimia. Dengan menyelenggarakan dan melaksanakan diskusi media roundtables dengan Presiden Direktur BASF, PRecious membantu menempatkan BASF di media utama Indonesia, termasuk CNN Indonesia. Langkah ini secara efektif memposisikan mereka sebagai pakar utama di industri mereka.

PRecious worked with ONE Championship, the world’s largest martial arts organisation, to generate hype and interest around an event that took place in Indonesia. To achieve this, PRecious successfully created excitement in the region through the creation of a “buzz video”, featuring Indonesian influencers such as Stefer Rahardian, Ramdani Lestaluhu and Hesti Purwadinata. The video was circulated on the influencers’ Facebook and Instagram.

PRecious employed a combination of traditional public relations and influencer engagement to spread awareness of the new offering from Campina. BASF Indonesia, the largest chemical producer in the world, appointed PRecious to drive communications around the “We Create Chemistry” event to celebrate their 40th anniversary in the country. At the event, BSAF intended to announce new innovations in chemical production. By organising and executing media roundtables with BASF’s President Director, PRecious helped place BASF in key Indonesian media, including CNN Indonesia. This effectively positioned them as thought leaders in their industry.
Mimpi is a company that aims to offer luxurious and affordable mattresses to everyone in Indonesia. PRecious helped Mimpi to create awareness for the brand and the technology that they use through localised influencer engagements, resulting coverage in various media outlets. In addition to these engagements, a press launch was also organised to support Mimpi’s goal in Indonesia. As a result, the brand received increased awareness, a better understanding of the technology behind the mattresses and higher engagement, in terms of likes and followers, on social media.
