PRecious Communications has been appointed by Sustainable Energy Association of Singapore (SEAS) to lead public relations activities around the sixth edition of the Asia Clean Energy Summit (ACES) and the second edition of PowerACE 2019. ACES 2019 is part of the Singapore International Energy Week (SIEW), an annual platform for energy professionals, policymakers and commentators to discuss and share best practices and solutions within the global energy space.
PRecious Communications will drive awareness through media relations, social media and content marketing for the event. This year, the event will take place from Wednesday, 30 October to Friday, 1 November, at Marina Bay Sands, Sands Expo and Convention Centre. ACES continues to bring together leaders in the regional solar and renewables space to exchange best practices, debate trends and solutions in the clean energy industry. Regional thought leaders from both the public and private sector will discuss how Singapore can lead clean energy initiatives and shape the future of smart-sustainable cities.
As part of ACES 2019, SEAS and Private Financing Authority Network (PFAN) will organise PowerACE – a pitching competition for startups in the energy sector. This year, key themes for PowerACE 2019 revolve around digital applications, decentralised systems and energy storage, clean energy, new frontier technologies, and e-mobility solutions. Participants will exhibit their ideas and innovations from 30 October to 31 October and pitch them on 31 October.
Startups who are interested in taking part in PowerACE will have to apply before 15 August 2019. Other highlights at ACES 2019 include discussions on “Clean Energy Leaders Dialogue”, “Driving Clean Energy Transition”, “Unlocking Solar Capital Asia and Financial Summit”, “Digital Transformation of Energy”, “International Floating Solar Symposium”, “Asian Conference on Energy, Power and Transportation Electrification” and “Wind Energy Conference”. The “Asia Forum for Climate and Clean Energy Financing” and the “Asian Energy Storage Workshop” are co-located events at ACES 2019.
Under Singapore’s Climate Action Plan 2018, the aim is to reduce carbon footprint by adopting more efficient technologies and cleaner fuels. ACES aims to raise public awareness and push the discussion for a more sustainable environment in Asia.
