The Red-Carpet Premiere!
One month to make the magic happen.
That’s all the time we were given when NBCUniversal approached us. Looking to build upon the great success that was the drama series, NBCUniversal looked to launch an international event, a Downton Abbey exhibition, with a red-carpet premiere in Singapore.
Downton Abbey is a British drama series that demonstrated the effect of various historical events on British society, and how it led to the eventual collapse of the British aristocracy. We learn of this on a very intimate level as these changes affect the lives of the Crawley family and their domestic servants, in which the show revolves around.
NBC Universal is a massive multinational media conglomerate, and we had the incredible opportunity to work with its London team to make the event a reality, but being based in the UK, the team faced the problem of sourcing for celebrities and influences to turn up for the event. Media was no issue – NBCUniversal had already sourced over a hundred media titles from all across the world to feature the event, but the question still remained. Who was going to turn up? Being a UK-based television series, NBCUniversal needed local stars and local faces to make the event relatable and awe-inspiring to the local public.
And that’s where the Precious team came in. Within the short time span of a month, the team stretched its connections and managed to liaise with various local celebrities and influencers, coming back to NBCUniversal with over a 100 RSVPs. Our junior executives had the incredible chance of working with many of these stars directly – not only emailing them, but also meeting and conversing with them at the event itself.
All in all, it was a STAR-STUDDED event night with great vibes and fantastic experiences. Yet another time, PRecious Communications has proven its outstanding professionalism in events organization and its influencers network outreach.
